Great little spot!I won't lie to you and say this is the best barbecue I've ever had because it's not, but this is a solid barbecue joint that will serve you some good meat, good beans, and good sauce. This is a great spot to pick up or grab lunch if you're in Spring Lake or around the Lakeshore!1 Food/Service: The best BBQ I've had in Michigan (and at a reasonable price! . The food came quickly and those running Lazy P were kind and considerate. They even shared some sausage they were smoking with us while we were chatting. We love treating ourselves to this restaurant whenever we get the chance. You can really see the effort they put into their recipes, and Jamie does an amazing job—she works tirelessly to ensure the BBQ is ready for us to enjoy. Every staff member has been very friendly, and we've consistently had great meals here! We’ll definitely be returning! The pictures showcase their Pulled Pork and Brisket Meal, and I must say, I love all their BBQ sauces!
Absolutely fantastic BBQ! My husband and I recently relocated from Texas to be nearer to our family, and we found that the BBQ here is just as delicious as what we enjoyed back home. The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with a wonderful smoky flavor, and we were big fans of the BBQ beans and cornbread as well! Best BBQ on the Lakeshore! We enjoyed everything in our 3 Meat Platter but the big winner was the sausage. Pork and Brisket were great too! Carolina Mustard and Sriracha Honey sauces went well with everything and the beans and Slaw were classicly flavored and went perfect with the meats. We will be back for more! Definitely try this place out for lunch.
Today was my first time going there. A few friends have told me how good it is and that I had to try it. I do a lot of traveling around the state in the summer and always seek out these little places. This is one of the best that I've had.
The smoky baked beans are the BEST! So good that I took a quart home along with a lb of pulled pork. The maple Siracha sauce is awesome!
