So we were very satisfied that we had booked and even more pleased when the very friendly waiter/bar manager really spoke good English and informed us... he had held a table on the terrace on the back of the restaurant. We arrived just before eight o'clock, seven of us. They asked had we booked? "Non". Lots of clucking and looking in the book, shuffling of tables etc. "Oh yes" we thought, typical restaurateur, making a big deal out of it, as we could see the place was virtually empty. So we got seated and ordered some drinks, when all of a sudden there was a mass influx of customers! People arrived from everywhere, young, old, kids, teenagers the lot. The place was buzzing. Selected by Tripadvisor, we decided on this restaurant Bar Weinbar... Free parking on the road between 12 and 2 pm... indicate the French way of living that food is important! I choose the daily menu item. Bass with safron... sauce and red beans. The beans are not my favorite but unfortunately! Nicely prepared and I ate the fish. Dessert: a beautiful coupe de fresh fruits. We stopped at Le 2M for a drink and my party of 5 shared a very yummy bottle of well priced champagne. We were also served a complementary appetizer flat bread. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed our bubbly and snack after walking...through the Old Town of Château-Gontier. The food we saw looked amazingly delicious and the staff was very welcoming to our party who spoke little French.

We stopped at Le 2M for a drink and my party of 5 shared a very yummy bottle of well priced champagne. We were also served a complementary appetizer flat bread. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed our bubbly and snack after walking through the Old Town of Château-Gontier.The food we saw looked amazingly delicious and the staff was very welcoming to our party who spoke little French.
This was the first place we stopped at and just for drinks and to look at the place. The beers they offered I have to say were great as they come from their outlet call V&B around the corner. We ate there on two other occasions and found the food to be acceptable as there wasn't a great selection, though the kids were happy with a bucket of moules each.
Stopped at a near by hotel and walked to this restaurant one evening - we were early but it got busy as the night went along.Well decorated but a little dated. Service ok, Food ok but portions a bit small. Prices a little high for the quality of the food. Not a place we would rush back too if we were in the area.
Very cozy restaurant right in front of the city centre. We had a 3 plate menu for 21euro. (Aero, bottle of water and refreshment incl. For this price we were really amazed for the quality of the dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great recomendation for the boss and the staff.

We didn't book for our lunch last Friday at this restaurant, but we were early and it wasn't full even when we left.Had been told it was good and decided that the lunchtime set menu was priced just about right for what we got. Nice choices and good food, well presented.
