Le Bar du Palais - Tisch reservieren

We stopped at Murat for lunch on a long drive from Le Puy to Sarlat. It's a lovely town, on a hillside with beautiful old stone buildings, and completely free of tourists! Very little was open, so we went to this brasserie. I had a...humble burger with fries and salad, and it was great, just how I wanted it. Service was fast and friendly despite language difficulties, and price very reasonable. The outside tables in the old town had a great atmosphere-give this place a go if you are in the area.

Good welcome, we are placed on a small table next to the fountain, very nice, we choose a tartare with homemade fries, salad, and a plate of bougnat, with salad, truffade, rosette, butter, country ham, country terrine, and big piece of cantal. Really hearty, we loved this restaurant which doesn't look like much!!!!

Both waitresses are of exemplary kindness. The place is very maple and you feel a good home cooking. They offer us to adapt all the dishes offered without meat. For once we're not looking at each other. Perfect!

Very good food, not expensive at all. Nice experience.
