A small bar with a large and always busy al fresco area in front of the rather horrible new covered market hall of Sète and a smaller and quieter one all around the bar, in part on rue Frédéric Mistral. As Barajo doesn’t do breakfast, we bought some croissants in the market and ordered coffee here on several occasions. Both the ‘café crème’ and the ‘café noir’ (black coffee) were very good. The waiters were very nice. Barajo does serve oysters and seafood. Using the toilet is a hassle and a bit of an adventure. You have to get the key at the bar, enter by a small door on rue Mistral and walk up a flight of rickety stairs where there are umbrellas and other stuff. The bar may look clean and m...
