Dinner at this restaurant was one of the most unique dining experiences I have ever had. The place itself is tiny, with about 16 seats, arranged on the evening I was there as 3 tables. The kitchen is basically in the same room. The decor is a large collection of objects and trinkets bought in Thailand by the couple who own the restaurant on their yearly trips there. The food is authentic and imaginative, cooked by the (Peruvian) half of the couple. She spent a year in Thailand studying their cuisine, and has returned every year since. I have walked by Basilic for years without noticing it. Indeed: Basilic is a hidden gem. Without a friend telling it was an excellent restaurant, I might never have discovered it. But, once, you do, you are in for a superb experience! Quite frankly, it is *the* best Thai food I have had in Switzerland (from Lucern to Basel to Geneva . Sehr gutes Essen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schrullig und urig. Es gibt nicht viele Tische, was bedeutet, dass Sie gut und schnell bedient werden und die freundliche Atmosphäre vorherrscht. Eine gute Wahl für ein romantisches Essen oder einen besonderen Anlass.
