The service it terrible. The food is mediocre and the portion sizes are abysmal. It is 117 mins of my life that I will never get back. I should have probably put something nearby for a scale reference on the pasta dish, and I did...do a double take wondering if I had accidentally ordered from the kids menu. Having traveled to Cala Rossa, for nine years we had never eaten at the port, as most of the very tourist restaurants do not offer the quality we demand. The fish of the day, was delicious baked, with great roasted potatoes, and prepped at the adjoining table. A full fish takes a little time, which we were prepared for. the hotel is located on the marina front looks more out of a tradiatioanl style French restaurant with veranda style seating with overhanging trees. set up not as packed as other places and looks a bit more super market. owners and employees friendly and attentive. eating was excellent .not often we would give a 10, but in this case we would. the owner has recovered a local wine and despite no price list was very reasonable for a good drink.
Sebastian was very helpful and engaging. Lovely setting. Good rose selection. Melon and ham appetizers presented well. Great flavor. Squid ink risotto was superb. I can't match previous comments! this place is simply perfect for a break and enjoy very delicious fresh fish. we had linguine vongole, which were served delicious, fresh and with a smile. go there, you won't be disappointed. the prices are ok not...forget that they sit in the first row of the harbour
We had a truly delicious lunch at Le Bistrot today. We chose starters and mains from the specials and all were excellent. The service was very good too and given that we had 3 courses, wine, desert wine and coffees the bill was very good...value.
For a fish of the day you will pay 2 or 3 times more than almost anywhere in Corsica. A 300 grammes portions of fish cost us from 60 to 80 euros each? You will only realise this only when paying the bill. It is...a total scam. Go anywhere else.
The food was fine, the seating very nice but for three courses we sat there for more than 3hrs. For the price I would expect something more up to speed.

we were here for lunch. a beautiful terrace under trees. the food was good and the prices appropriate for the location at the harbour.
service was slow (also for European standards), but the meal was delicious. beautiful seats in the open.
