Patron Jean Baptiste runs a charming bistrot right on the edge of the Ski Slopes of Mont Rond. Dishes, of course, contain local cheese and meats. Tartiflette and the Escalope Savoyarde are to be recommended, as are their burgers. This is a great lunchtime stop but also very pleasant for a dinner of raclette or fondue. There is a nice outside terrace for warm sunny days. Service is very much with a smile and we were always greeted warmly It is a great little place for a snack or more substantial meal. Excellent all round.
Our go to restaurant in the area! We are summer hikers and winter skiers to ND-B and this bistro is ideally located by the chair lift on Mont Rond. It is perfect for drinks and food. JB's speciality salads are spot on, as is his Burger Savoyarde A great reward after a good days skiing or walking ....! The draught beer is crystal clear and cold - the best in the village. We look forward to returning in the New Year.
I had lunch here on a beautiful, sunny, March day. The south facing terrace us a magnet for both skiers and non-skiers alike. The food was very good, but service slow, due to demand. Addional waiting staff would help.

This is our standard lunch restaurant on our family ski trips. The location and service is great and the food is good. For something better foodwise drive 5 minutes up the hill to the Relais des amis.
