We went here for dinner and on arrival they took a while finding us a table even though there were plenty of spare ones (it was later in the evening). They then took ages to take our order and there was a long wait for the food. Eventually when it arrived, my husband was given something he hadn't ordered. When he raised this, the waitress said she realised it was a mistake but didn't apologise. We had another long wait for the correct meal but the waitress then neglected to bring the wine or any cutlery! A quite disappointing lunch. Service was pretentious. My wife's mackerel was overcooked. My Filet de St Pierre was fairly tasteless. How fresh was it ?? This was the menu at €20.50 with starter main course, with a supplément of €4.00 for the St Pierre John Dory . Given the qualité/prix ratio this was quite overpriced. There are many other restaurants in the area which offer much greater value. Try Le Quai in front of the harbour in La Trinité. Same price-bracket but always better.
We had an excellent dinner selected from the menu d' jour. The sardine rilletes centre followed by the whole mackerel with blanc beurre sauce, saffron potatoes and a delicious onion ratatouille were really good as were our desserts. Nice decking area overlooking the harbour and prompt service, helped by the fact that the waiter spoke good English. Our meal for two with a bottle of wine was an extremely reasonable 70 euro. No hesitation in recommending.
So many restaurants in this area specialise in seafood that it's difficult to find one that does meat well. Our host recommended Bistrot du Marin as a good place for steak so we both ordered entrecôte frites. They were served with a few lettuce leaves, half a cherry tomato each, a mound of frites and a small pot of béarnaise sauce dry at the edges. Our steaks were average, mine a bit stringy and chewy. Maybe they are better with seafood.

While La Trinité heavily suffered from this end-of-season atmosphere, this restaurant appears to offer stability and quality. Location, interior decoration, welcome, service, ratio quality/price, food, etc. Only detail: we though it was warm in the restaurant, so we were glad that the window was open. But the waitress/lady of the house ? closed it because she said it was rather chilly. She is probably always right ...
Good solid fare which was served relatively quickly and with good humour. Near the marina so convenient. There are other places to eat in Trinite that repay a bit more exploration but you would not go wrong if you stumbled into Le Bistro du Marin
Dinner with friends and family. Sat outside on the terrace with it wonderful views of the harbour and the bridge. Meal was good and service was friendly and efficient
If you come to the Trinity-sur-Mer, don’t hesitate to stay and eat at this address that offers a view of the marina. refined and quality cuisine

We loved Le Bistrot du Marin, very friendly staff with a great menu wine list. Sat out side with very good views of the marina go and enjoy.
