More than twenty years between my last visit, I went there for lunch, a very affordable table d'hôte at $ 18, starter and dessert included. As a starter, a thick but tasty soup. The standard green salad but the house vinaigrette was very good.I ordered super fresh oysters outside the table d'hôte and a starter of well-seasoned beef tartare classically presented ... I took my parents to Le Bordelais, a restaurant I've cherished for over 20 years. Our waiter greeted us warmly and quickly provided booster seats. I opted for the Salmon Meunière, while my parents chose steak. The waiter recommended a lovely Chablis, which they enjoyed. When our meals arrived, my Salmon Meunière was perfectly cooked with a light lemony butter sauce. We shared laughs and stories over dessert crème brûlée for my parents and me. To celebrate my parents' anniversary, the waiter surprised us with a small cake, enhancing our wonderful night at Le Bordelais. A wonderful experience ! Must visit again !
The three times I have been there in the past three months, it remains an experience of both joy and uncertainty. I expected much better. I frequent restaurants of this type very often and on this occasion it is good to very good. What disappointed me was the service which was pretty much very average, no smile, no rush. It's a bit like in France, the tip is on the bill, so they don't have to make any effort ... it's guaranteed. I am amazed at this new approach which makes me angry when it comes to having to pay.

One Friday evening with friends, our super pleasant waiter Claude adapts to the kind of person we are. Impeccable service, for the aperitif you should not think of a mixed because they do not. As an entree succulent snail puff pastry or symphony for two including fried calamari, smoked salmon and shrimp generous and excellent portion. Main meal, excellent rack of lamb, again excellent steak, excellent veal kidney for those who like it and roast beef with perfect jus.
37 years that Le Bordelais has been quietly following its path ... Rooms not too large, cozy comfort, efficient service and relatively low prices. The key to success and longevity with, of course, traditional cuisine - not a lot of places to eat impeccable veal kidneys, or 7 o'clock leg of lamb ... In short, a veteran, but still so good.
This is one of my top restaurants. It has a lovely and inviting ambiance. The service is consistently top-notch, with familiar faces each time we visit. The cuisine is exceptional, truly representative of French fine dining. Additionally, they accommodate vegetarian and vegan requests.
Very good French cuisine, very varied menu. good wine list and very affordable. Beautiful atmosphere and unparalleled service. A bit pricey but the owners have made a few fixes that make it a more affordable place. a place to spend quality good time in good company.
