We visited Nous for lunch when meeting with friends who were also in the area. It is a delightful restaurant and a gem of a find. We all had the three course lunch, and sat in their pretty outside terrace (a welcome breeze on a scorching July day! Most of our party had the fish stuffed courgette flowers, which were beautifully presented, and a wonderfully light starter. One of our party also had the gazpacho, which he said was absolutely delicious. For our main course, we all had the ray with squid ink gnocchi and beurre blanc. Monday lunch. Menu du jour, everything faite maison and very, very good: tomato soupe à la citronelle (x2 , moules de bichot (x2 , glaces 4 (including verveine, cacahuète for my wife (both verveine cacahuete were remarkable and tartelette de figues for me (with glace de 'feuiles de figue ' again exceptional (did the young chef train in patisserie? I neglected to ask . We wish this young couple good luck. The location is not ideal for passing trade, being the 'wrong ' end of the street, maybe 200m away from the Place Nationale.(rue Bessières, then rue Fraîche either side of rue de la Résistance .
I did some research for our final supper in Montauban and we decided on this restaurant. Well i'm so glad we did, we all had the tasting menu which consisted of 5 courses with another 2 little dishes thrown in so it was then a 7 course meal. Every dish was exciting and delicious, the sort of food you could expect in a Michelin Bib/Star restaurant. We all enjoyed the whole experiance and to top it all off the bill including wine only came to approx €50/head, at home this would have more likely been €150/head. Fantastic little restaurant with a nice outside area that i highly recommend.
Toujours très agréable. L’œuf mimosa revisité et sa mayonnaise à la spiruline est une très bonne idée, comme le lapin en cassoulet, ou les parfums des glaces en dessert. Les prix sont raisonnables, le service fluide, rien à dire, sauf, ... que la glace à la lavande est un peu forte et dénature la tartelette au chocolat. Merci à ce jeune chef qui ne déçoit pas et progresse toujours dans l 'originalité et la maîtrise.

Friendly and welcoming menu. Small menu, but interesting dishes that deviate from the duck/foie gras/steak norms of the region. Nice to see vegetarian options as well. Food is creative, perfectly cooked and extremely delicious will give Michelin star restaurants a run for their money. House wine tasty, but nothing special. At 24 euros for 3 courses, excellent value.
We had a lovely meal at Nous, choosing à la carte. Dishes all nicely presented without being pretentious. Good friendly service with the chef appearing as we were preparing to leave. We will be back!
