We had a wonderful meal here last week. All 8 of us were very happy. We all had either the 33€ or 43€ menus and while that adds up, it was a wonderful experience. We had a starter, a main, cheese, a pallet cleanser and a dessert. See my photos. Our youngest had a great 10€ meal too. You will not be disappointed with the food. We sat upstairs and had a lovely round wooden table. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I recommend an aperitif outside if possible, combined with a stroll to the cliff edge, while the children play table tennis or boules. A great experience.
Wow, incredible. We found this restaurant a bit last minute and were very happy that they had a table for us. We both had the menu for €33, and what an amazing experience that was. Amuse bouche of ricotta and zucchini with olive oil, then a pork starter, very fresh fish with Thai sauce for our mains, cheese/sorbet, and amazing dessert with black currant and caramelized nuts. Portions were generous, food was very beautifully presented, and bread was delicious. Efficient service. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
A large but atmospheric restaurant, converted from farm buildings, in Chateau Chalon, with tables on a large garden terrace in fine weather. We ordered the fixed price 43 euro menu and were greatly impressed by the quality and presentation of the food and wines. The young couple managing this restaurant have created something special. Advance reservations essential.
We celebrated a good friend's birthday with a special lunch and the food was exquisite. We had coffee on the terrasse in the garden. Lucy and the team gave us a warm welcome and the waitress was excellent. I can still taste the rhubarb from the yummy pud. Do book in advance.
