Le Bouchon du Vaugueux

We had a wonderful dinner at this Michelin place. The lady who ran this place was very helpful to explain the French menu to us... All courses were super! However, we got more than a delicious meal here. We left a bag of stuff we just shipped earlier in the restaurant, and only realized it a few hours later. When I rang them, the lady told me they found the bag when cleaning the tables and kept for me. She didn't close the restaurant till I got back to get my stuff. She is a really nice person, and wish her good business and good health!

We so enjoyed our evening in this really quite special place. Warmly welcomed by Corinne into a warm, friendly atmosphere, we were very happy with our table next to the busy comptoir. Prompt service, always with a smile, a varied menu and good choice of wines by the glass. Not to mention superb food! As frequent visitors we have dined at many of the city's restaurants. For some reason this was our first time at Le Bouchon, but it is now first on the list! Thank you to the whole team.

We have been coming to this brilliant restaurant in Caen for some 20 years! And wow is it worth it! Full of French clients ….always a good sign! The menu is on a large backboard and we chose the 3 course set menu…. I had scallops cooked in lemon juice with Salmon and a purée of cauliflower, followed by fish and then a grapefruit cheesecake….. all absolutely wonderful

Amazing experience, the food was amazing the severs would even tell you what is in your dish. The portions are pretty big and my advice would be : unless you have a huge appetite, choose only a main dish and a dessert

Amazing, just amazing. The cooking is absolutly perfect. The fish is full of savor, the dessert is a pleasure.
