We had come to the coast from the Carcassonne area, in search of moules frites, so chose Le Breizh d’Oc. The maître de was really welcoming though at 12.30 the restaurant was full of diners. The menu was excellent as was the service. We started with fish soup which was delicious and then had the moules marinières, equally delicious. The whole experience was delightful and we will most definitely be coming back!
We were drawn in by a board advertising many types of mussels. We ordered but were then told they were out of mussels. At 8pm. A decent fish soup was followed by overcooked tuna. Two waitresses came and took our dessert order three times. A very ‘end of season’ experience.
There are plenty of restaurants around the water in Gruissan but this one is in the village. We arrived late but had called ahead and they kept our table for six with all the kids in tow. Food was good, service was professional and friendly.
The food and service was great. Very friendly and had everything under control even though very busy. The grilled sardines were perfect. Very welcoming to the dogs.
