on august we were with in their restaurant le cafe de la fontaine' next to the michelin star restaurant by xavier mathieu. the environment was beautiful and there was a special occasion, it was the birthday of my wife. the service of this restaurant...was so unstandard that I listed below what went wrong: aperitif, amuse bouche and starter came at the same time? a bottle of wine was poured directly into all glasses without tasting (bordeaux euro at a temperature of approx. grad) the main course came directly after the starter. aperitif was still on the table! did they want us to get out as soon as possible? plates were deleted while other people still eat basic labels) while washing off fell...
What a lovely discovery. The Café de la Fontaine offers remarkable food quality as well as an idyllic setting. Housed on the terrace of the Relai Château Le Phebus, we discover a magnificent place and park in the center of a silent and natural landscape. The service is pleasant and discreet, the atmosphere comfortable for this bistro with a rather relaxed dress code. We chose a two-course menu, wine by the glass possible. In this refined and luxurious, yet relaxed setting, I see my entry of fennel and it's almost a shame to break the perfect balance of the flowers placed on top. Very good service, friendly staff and listening. We had lunch on the terrace this day. Soothing place. Fresh and delicate entry based on fennel, marinière, salicornes. Cabillaud, mini zucchini in salad seasoned oil/citron, aaioli siphon, fennel and fennel potatoes, gressins. Desserts around the basil lemon and a strawberry peach verrine with basil milk. Excellent food. (The glass of wine at 12 € and a bottle of gaseous water house at 8 €, it is a slightly squeezed price...

5 stars especially for the kitchen; very good dishes. I deliberately had fish as a starter and main course and no disappointment. Very good, until dessert! Small downside for the service which was long, but the culinary experience was there.
