Not a vegan restaurant but they were more than happy to design a vegan meal especially for us. The menu is seasonal and there is always a vegetarian option on the menu but they design the vegan option especially. They ask that you book in advance though to give them some time to come up with something special. We had seared asparagus to start with preserved lemon and dukkah. Main was beetroot quinoa galettes with Wild rice, sauteed greens and a sesame and lime dressing. Dessert was the creamiest chia and coconut pudding with a strawberry compote. Restaurant located a few minutes from Duravel easily accessible. A beautiful set with a large closed courtyard. For our first arrival our table is under the preau. The setting is campagnard and pleasant. No blowers and insect destroyers. Concerning the wine map it is centered on the wines of Cahors with some great areas. The kitchen is inventive and very fine. The agreement of flavors is exceptional. A very good table to be recommended. We'll be back with pleasure.
The restaurant is in a stone farmhouse surrounded by vineyards. It is unusual for the region in that there is always a vegetarian starter and main course on offer. This time I had roast cauliflower and lentils. It was delicious, as was the dessert. My vegetarian daughter hates cauliflower and the chef put together a plate of other vegetables for her. Book in advance, it gets full, specially in summer, when you can eat outside.
Very beautiful setting, both on the terrace and in the efficient service room. Menu at first sight simple but perfectly executed, full of flavor and at consistent price. The Sunday lunch was a fixed menu and just perfect in every way. Quality produced and cooked local food. Wide selection of reasonably priced wines to go along with the Exceptional quality and value menu. Well done Chas Caroline
