This was a birthday dinner in an outdoors setting with beautiful views. The positive aspects were all to do with the food. Original, delicately assembled starters with unusual taste combinations (eg foie gras with a peanut puree) that worked remarkably well. Main courses that combined fish or meat (eg lobster or pigeon) accompanied by aesthetically attractive garnishes and vegetable 'constructions'. The dessert menu was varied and all in all the planning and execution of the menu was certainly deserving of the 'etoile'. From the moment we arrived we were enchanted by the restaurant. There service was attentive and knowledgeable. The hostess Frederica was charming and cared about her clients without over imposing to ensure they were receiving the service they needed. The sommelier was helpful and guided us to a good choice of wine. The food was divine. From the first dish to the desert everything was prepared with not only an excellent presentation but also with flavours that lifted the food to another planet. We booked a dinner in this informal restaurant on the poolside on the evening of the bastille. servers are welcoming and attentive without looking to overwhelm us. the menu is not adventurous, for that go to the starred restaurant michelin next to but the food and wine were excellent and at reasonable prices but the show thief is the view, while the sun goes down and you look back on the greasy pool is really magical. Of course, being the night of the bastille, we then finished with a fireworks on the old mougins. do not let you get rid of the large doors of the candilla mas and the high price threat.
We went for lunch as we were leaving the Riviera in the evening. Charming old building with very well kept terraces and garden areas. The very pleasant and elegant restaurant is not too big, with wonderful views over the countryside and the coast. Formal surroundings, nicely spaced tables and good (but slow) service. The special lunch menu is very reasonably priced, however the cuisine, mostly good, didn't leave a lasting impression.
We visited this restaurant for lunch on a sunny sunday. We were served a perfect lunch, excellently prepared, impeccably served and in a wonderful scenary. It has the most beautiful vview over the hills to Grasse. The food (we had the simple menu du marche) was excellent. The service was very attentive and friendly. Wine prices are a bit on the steep side, but that's all. A great place to visit.

Restaurant setting is fantastic.Service was mediocre. Had to ask for serval things. Food was ok. I wouldn't recommend ordering the tuna/beef tartare as very bland. King crab was.nice. Pigeon was okay but not as good as it could have been. Strawberry cheesecake was nothing more than ok. A lovely setting but if you want amazing fine dining then choose somewhere else
Be ready for a feast gastronomique! Enjoyed every bite of the chefs menu - do yourself a favor and go for it.
