I have eaten every year in this mountain restaurant for the last fifteen years, but last week I experienced the worst customer service I have ever seen. we sat without fuss and treated with a casual misfortune that I have not experienced yet. we thought here as what we hoped was a relaxed and civilized lunch on a beautiful sunny day. unfortunately the food was extorted (ton soup for 13 euro) and indifferent quality. I chose the 18 euro plat du jour after being said. it was fish, only to be served a small amount of an indefinite shellfish in a tomato sauce with some boiled kartoffels. the maitre d was abhand and impatient at the point of rest and, when I challenged him, explained, "It is not a problem for him". he was as rude as many other groups, so it wasn't just us. you had the clear impression that he did please us by serving us. avoid and save her money!
Lovely day, we booked a table on the terrace. The owner was really helpful and we arrived a bit early. He arranged for deckchairs and drinks whilst we waited. Food was really good-a platter of charcuterie and cheese to begin (not on the menu) and...various steaks, burgers for main courses. Magnum of rose and a couple of decent bottles of cotes de Rhône between 6. Not sure whether staff issues in other reviews have been addressed, but we had a great experience. Definitely go back and recommend you try it.

I simply can't understand the negative reviews of this restaurant, the food was excellent, service exemplary and the ambience was warm, as was the open fire. We have...been here many times over several years (never written a review of this place before) and this restaurant has always met these high standards.
he was waiting for us for over 90 minutes. no explanation, excuses or a basket of broth to tremble youthful. When the food arrived, it was best to have a 3/10. at least people say when they arrive that there is a long waiting time. so that they can decide what to do. my advice does not waste their time or money at this place, ski to another restaurant.

eating here is a bit expensive, but it was excellent. fabulous chips and burger and a beautiful cold meatboard. we enjoyed our meal here and there was great view from the terrace.
