Om 20.00 uur gereserveerd. Keurige tafel gekregen op het gezellige en volle terras. Met 6 personen gegeten. De keuze was echter behoorlijk beperkt. Er was geen rundvlees of eend meer verkrijgbaar waardoor de kipspies zo'n beetje overbleef. Deze was veel te drogen moest met ketchup op smaak gebracht worden . Voor een restaurant met een beperkte kaart werd de keuze wel zeer beperkt na het uitvallen van bijna alle gerechten. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Ook bij het wederom langskomen om de bestelling op te nemen nadat in de keuken de nodige tekorten waren geconstateerd. Na een erg positieve ervaring verleden jaar leidde dit tot een teleurstellende avond.
When the locals regularly frequent a certain establishment, you know you are going to enjoy a genuinely French experience.We found ourselves returning to this restaurant on a number of occasions. There is a limited menu, the prices are reasonable and the food, whilst not gourmet, is tasty traditional french cooking.The Casino restaurant is owned and run by two brothers, both of who are friendly and amusing characters. Locals and tourists alike are made to feel welcome and once you've been a couple of times you are greeted as returning friends.We loved this place and wouldn't hesitate to return next time we are in Mazan.Great fun!
we had stayed on a quality village restaurant-bistrot and when we had lunch there a year after what disappointment. on the menu offered, there was only one entry in 2 to choose and idem for the resistance plate while it was not yet 13h. more at the price level no relation between a duck magret that was no longer on the menu replaced by a chopped steak or chicken. and as there were no crowds, I think that in the kitchen they had not had to make a lot of magret!Finally final disappointment with dessert: baba to the unmangeable rum and pie to pears without taste; Carafe wine not good. For us "the casino" is over.
there was not much more than steak and a fish dish left over on the black board when we visited (quite a few dishes were not available that night). both meals were really tasty: a nice rare tuna with a flavoured rice. crispy chips with the steak which was, unfortunately, undercooked (we had ordered medium but it arrived super rare). non alcoholic beer is generally available in all restaurants in france, but here it only comes in a version with fruit taste. it's for adults, mates, not kids! lively atmosphere, nice waitress.

Met onze 2 kinderen samen met vrouw op eerste het beste terrasje plaats genomen. Lekker in zonnetje. Vlotte service. Snelle bediening. Als lunch gekozen voor de plat du jour. Voor slechts 14 euro gegratineerde mosselen vooraf en een heerlijke tarte gratin met rundvlees als hoofdgang geserveerd. Ouderwetse creme fromaises toe. Gewoon heerlijk genoten met een lekker glas bier. Hele gezelschap was tevreden. Echt waar voor je geldt en dat willen wij hollanders toch.

refined cuisine, beautiful wine menu. the shaded terrace is very pleasant. The bosses are listening and sharing their passion, one without fault!
Lekker gegeten voor een eerlijke prijs op een mooie locatie in een typisch zuid-Frans dorpje. De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk. Een aanrader!
