Le Castelleras is a wonderful restaurant with wonderful views and great food and wine. The restaurant sits overlooking the scenic village of Fayence and has really beautiful views from its terrace. Spring and summer are my favourite times of the year to eat at this fantastic dining spot. The restaurant is a family affair with a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. I have always found the service to be warm and helpful. Most speak English for the non French-diner and I have always enjoyed a great night here. The restaurant offers a relatively narrow menu but I have found them very flexible and on one occasion I attended with vegan friends and this was no problem… they accommodated on the nigh...
We were booked for pm and arrived mins early. There was an unwelcome tone from the owner? We were told to go over and look at the view and no they could not serve us a drink! However once e were seated we enjoyed a sublime meal, absolutely delicious and certainly worthy of its Michelin star. Expensive but really high quality food and would come again... but strictly at the time we are given!
Great location and setting for a special occasion. We were never rushed and enjoyed every moment. The food choice, quality and flavors were perfect for a Sunday buffet. We look forward to visiting again. Sunday “brunch” is a poor description for the variety and types of foods that were actually provided.
Excellent food in a pretty setting but very slow service. Waited 50 minutes from no arrival to any food at all and twenty mins before being given a menu or asked if we would like a drink. Good with that caveat
The whole experience was wonderful. The hostess/owner was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The surrounding was very attractive with spectacular views. Overall, a great evening.
the establishment of this restaurant is stunning, the service was friendly and efficient, the work of the kitchen clearly visible and the eating excellent and imaginative.
What a wonderful place! Very nice dinner, we can recommend the Menü decouverte. Lovely people, beautiful view. We will come back!
