We found this great restaurant. Located close to the Dordogne (the river) and the Château de Monfort. The meal was delicious and hearty. The menu has 24€ was composed of a greasy entry, a dish of duck magret with fries and salads and dessert was at the choice and for me I chose a chocolate melt that was very good. I recommend this restaurant 100% if you’re around, it’s really perfect for a friendly dinner. I don’t understand the bad comments we can read about this restaurant, in my view they didn’t really get founded... at least it’s not a restaurant called “sport catch” as you can find in town!!
Beautiful little brewery for shaving after a little stroll in this beautiful village, near the castle of Montfort unfortunately private. We were well received and served in time. The dishes were good and the nice waiters. The frame is beautiful, in the shade, just below a huge tree It's a pretty crowded place in high season so maybe it's better to book. We probably got lucky that day. You can easily park nearby, but in the sun.. There's a nice river nearby too to go swimming!
Very good and super friendly staff especially at the end of the season they keep the smiles, with the visit of the very friendly boss? Who first offered us coffee, the waitress knows her work doesn't hesitate to ask her advice! short a good biker relay with beautiful landscape on the Dordogne has two steps from the restaurant
I was on a huge bike tour, saw the place in the morning when it was closed, and on my return, 80km later, a quick pint of Stella (maybe 2! was needed! Nice ambience, people seemed to know the bar staff well, and my Dodgy French was fine! Really nice place.
Nice service and relaxed and fast. Sun sun terrace sleeping in the evening My perigord salad had very generous gizzards, the foie gras medallion was not the best part of the dish. House fries but lacks cooking. We had a nice time.
Moment PARFAIT last night to close our 2 weeks vacation in the region: very nice reception, beautiful place, delicious meals... We would have extended the evening to live music, but 850 km were waiting for us today.
Superb discovery in the heart of the Périgord! A price, quality and quantity ratio at the top. Good products from the excellent terroir and in a beautiful setting! If you pass around, don't hesitate!
