Took 10 mins to see a waitress then once we ordered our 5 meals my sons pizza arrived after 3 minutes 3 more dishes arrived after 10 minutes then my steak tartare after 20 minutes. Not great for a nice family joint eating experience! It got worse though have never had a bad tartare in the 10 years I’ve been eating them. This one was utterly flavourless just a mush of steak hache and a bottle of Worcester sauce!! Admittedly I asked the chef to do the mixing as I’m no expert when normally they ask the customer to do the mixing but still when the waiter said that would be fine either do it properly or not at all?. Really bad experience. Had to wait 20 minutes for the table to be cleaned, when te tabel was cleaned we had to wait another 20 minutes to order something. We ordered the chicken burger and a pizza. The chicken burger arrived after 15 minutes. The pizza arrived 25 minutes after the chicken burger. No good timing between the two dishes, we couldn’t eat at the same time. Also no peper, salt or sauces were delivered at our table. The potatoes with the burger were raw, and really gross. The staff also was very rude and not friendly, the cutlery were just smashed on our table without saying anything. Most likely not enough staff was present. Would never again visit this restaurant, and don’t recom...
Popular on the slopes with lots of outdoor seating. The food was good and the portions adequate. Prices were as to be expected for a prime location restaurant. The waiters however were very slow and hard to come by. Nice spot to sit and relax/ refresh if you are not in a hurry to get back up onto the slopes
We visited many restaurants during our stay in La Toussuire, but we came to find out that Le Chamois was by far the best for lunch aswell as for dinner. Don't let the other reviews distract you. We were three familys, children included.
