Hands up, I love France. And this was my first trip to the French Alps. Our chalet owner keeps a list of recommended restaurants in his stunningly appointed chalet and this place was one. We walked from Meribel, going over the mountain via gondola and chairlift. We'd booked for 7:30 (when the restaurant opens) but arrived in the rain at 7:10 no problem, they opened up for us and then apologised for not quite being ready! So sweet. No choice of menu, but everything we ate was fab. All the meats and cheese are produced on the farm, with wine from local producers. The farmer himself came to see us and talked us through his heard in really very good English such a friendly guy. So rightly proud...
Just...wow! What a unique and special experience it was to dine here. The ambience was warm and inviting. It was fun to see locals gathering here at the end of the day it seemed like everyone knew one another. This is a true farm to table restaurant where they are serving you their own meat and cheeses, along with vegetables they've grown on the property. Had a difficult time navigating to it through Google Maps, but it was worth the extra effort :
The food here is good, all sourced from the farm where the restaurant is located. The meat was as good as in other high end restaurants, but the cheese and yoghurt were simply the best I have ever tasted. Bernard, the farmer and proprietor gave us an excellent welcome, for a very reasonable price. Can't recommend enough! Make sure you book, it's only open if they have bookings.
We ate here as a group of 7 in April 2016 and enjoyed it immensely. The food and ambience are both authentically Savoyard farmhouse and the pistachio macaroons are to die for. It is also very reasonably priced. I also hear nothing but glowing reports from friends who have eaten there.

Great evening in a place where the whole family is doing everything to welcome you! It passes through the reception, service and dishes, which are beautiful discoveries, with fresh products in large part products on site.. Good continuation to the owners and thank you
If you want to bring back a beautiful souvenir of your vacation I strongly advise you to take a tour. Friendly service, special meal quality with local products. Thank you for this great discovery.
The meal is homemade. Very nice decoration. Easy entry for wheelchair. Free public parking. Only on reservation. Midnight and evening. Winter and in season except Sunday
A refined terroir cuisine that reminds me of childhood in the countryside. The terrines are super tasty, the veal blanquette a dream and the cowrin just perfect.
