The decor is superb, lovely views. Food was ok, but as you would expect for that price. But oh dear, oh dear the couldn't spell service let alone deliver it. The rude unfriendly staff found everything was too much, from being rudely told to 'wait' when we wanted to order, to being told when we asked for a carafe of water for the third time for the children that 'why don't you order all of your drinks together'. Complained nothing off the bill, a half gesture of a free drink, left and won't be recommending this or be going back. This is a lovely restaurant but it gets really busy very quickly so it’s always worth booking in advance we were a group of 10 sitting outside in the sun so pre booking was definitely necessary for us. Cost wise, this is not the place...for a cheap snack (where in the mountains is? but more bordering towards fine dining. Having said that, some of the wines were very reasonably priced (which is very rare in the mountains! and very good. I personally had a fantastic risotto and all the other meals looked great too ....... with the exception of the tartiflette that came encased in bread/pastry and was mostly left by my two friends that ordered it. We stopped (a group of 7) for lunch whilst skiing. The tartiflette was done in their own unique style (see photo) and the best tartiflette I've ever had. My friends similarly enjoyed their onion soup, vegetable soup with sausage, vegetarian plate and plat du jour. Decoration is a quirky take on alpine style (furry pillar and birch branches inside) - and the toilets are excellently appointed. Just be careful on the floor in ski boots - I fell over yesterday quite heavily - but the staff were very quick to check I was OK (just bruised my ribs so not too bad).

We travel to Les Gets a couple of times a year and have only just discovered this amazing place just above the village. The staff were excellent and the food superb. For lunch it was amazing and we could so easily have settled in for the afternoon. I think we will have to stay there on our next visit. The gentleman who runs it was so lovely with my daughter who had received a nasty shock fall on a particularly horrible red (chamossiere) and he gave her the encouragement she needed to get back on the skis. We will definitely be back.
Great food and service once you get a table. However, this place does not seem to know how to manage bookings. Twice recently, we arrived on time for our booking, from a very visibly stressed host that we must be patient... in the bar, as they don't have tables. We waited almost an hour both times. We were not alone, either on Saturday noon there were many groups that were hungry and confused or even upset. We're not coming back a weekend. To be honest, we will probably avoid completely for now.
We had a dinner with family and friends and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening.The Chicken with truffels was considered exceptional. The only reason that I didn't rate as excellent was purely that I found my steak not the best. However everything else here was perfect. I have read some with issues with service but I have to say we were perfectly looked after, and I would rate this place as providing very good value for money.
This was our best find for lunch on the slopes. Away from the crowds, beautiful decor, ambient music, overall lovely surroundings. Friendly staff who excelled in customer service. Great food, the onion soup was fab, as were everyone else's meals. And all very reasonably priced.

Food was excellent, but the service was really bad. It's low season and the restaurant wasn't full. Sa for 15 minutes before a waiter came to us after he was asked. No one came to ask us if we were okay or needed more drinks. Think twice if you want to be well looked around.
We enjoyed a birthday celebration lunch for a party of 10 the food was delicious, the staff charming and very helpful. Will return on next ski holiday to Les Gets. Thank you
