We have been coming here a number of times now and it is always delicious. The menu is varied and there are good choices to be had, changing with the seasons. The food is freshly prepared and they try to source the ingredients locally. We...had an assiete de charcuterie and the tataki do thon as starters, followed by a very nicely cooked piece du boucher'. Portions are generous, so we only managed to share a desert (ice cream) this time. The service is very attentive and the dishes on offer are explained very nicely. There is no rush and the old record player in the background provides a perfect ambience to the overall experience. A bientôt!
Lovely position on the canal. Small plate tapas style eating. Each dish is really special in its own right and mostly French. This is not Spanish tapas it is just small plate eating. Fabulous ravioli (yeah, I know but trust me and try it before you roll your eyes). Ris de veaux. Scallops in a fantastic sauce. A duck dish with spicy spring rolls and slices of breast cooked pink. Lovely friendly staff. A HUGE 70s biased LP record collection which they play on a period turntable. Interesting art. Lovely place. Parking: Isolated on the side of the canal and so unlimited parking and there is no other reason to be parking there.
We have already come to this restaurant several times, always warmly welcomed by the owner whom we love because he is very friendly. The team is great, always with a smile. Meals are homemade with fresh, local products. The dishes are delicious. However, we are difficult, but we only have to try things because we know in advance that it will be successful. the location on a bridge from the 18th century over paul riquets magnificent canal du midi is super, but the eating was also. eating is a cut good over many others in the region. the conchiglioni au tropettes se maures for amere €9 was exquisite. the Fois...gras de maison was great and the risottoe de homard was also a real tasty bite. our second visit in le chat, we had a nice outside table for lunch. a new menu that consisted of an interesting selection that we enjoyed very much. very relaxed and picturesque.
