We came for lunch and had an appointment with the sales team to visit the salons with a view to having a baptism lunch there next month and then a wedding next year. We were very disappointed with the slow service (we stayed from 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for starter/main course/dessert) and the value for money. Foie gras: Good but extremely disappointing quantity for a price of €22. We asked to share it, the service was done on two plates, no complaints on this point. Dishes: The piglet and sea bass were good, the plates well presented. Dessert (waited 20 minutes even though we had asked if it could be served in 5 minutes): “La Pomme” and “Le Café-Noisette”. Nice presentation but really poor...
The Castle of Islands is a must for us. The kitchen is of excellent quality, and our recent experience was as usual delicious with pink trout and foie gras at the top of the list. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, making the experience the most enjoyable. A charming place for memorable meals. If you are looking for an elegant place for a special dinner, Le Château des Îles is a choice to consider.
The dinner was good except the cooked potatoes were not appetizing. One of the servers was very attentive to the needs of customers and quick to serve. Dinner on September 29th.
