We stayed in Port Monards last summer. There are only two places to eat in the village and both are fantastic but very different. Le Cheun a quai is a bar restaurant which serves very good food! We had a selection of different meals and they were all good and fresh. There are tables and chairs outside for eating and drinking which, after a long walk was very inviting. Most days we would stop and have a drink or two before returning to our cottage even if we were going there again in the evening!!, It is the kind of place that is impossible to pass!!! Stopped here for lunch before canoeing over the road. The menu had a good selection for kids and adults including lots of fresh local produce. My wife ate the delicious slow cooked local lamb (dish of the day), whereas others had a whole sea bass (bar in french), I had the mussels of the day (portugese style) while the kids cleared their plates quickly. Location is just off the road but still very peaceful with a little playground in front for the kids.
It's 4 years since we last came here and this place has been given a new lease of life in this attractive little port. We arrived late after a riverside walk on a very busy Sunday evening but were still welcomed. Good value menu, delicious pizzas and the cote th bourg red wine particularly good.
came by chance. simple, generous and all homemade cuisine. price more than affordable. we ate inside, warm atmosphere, authentic welcome and benevolent. I strongly recommend. games for children in the garden. Big garden.

excellent restaurant. very welcoming and smiling waitresses. Nice atmosphere. Go after 2 hours, no worries to eat! Very good and well-copyed dishes, whether for adults or children! an address to share!
morning stop (9h30) during our bike trip, if you want to have a breakfast, you should not stop there. Besides, not an unpleasant boss. A little more for damman tea.
kitchen reception and very nice setting and the addition is not scary, we can come with children too they have space to play.
Very nice place, but unfortunately I find that their pizza was not top, dough very dry and hard. The waitress very nice.
