Always eat here when in Taden and spend time in the friendly bar. Manu, the proprietor is friendly and welcoming (shame dogs aren’t allowed in the bar area). The restaurant is very good and we usually go for the set menu. On this trip we...enjoyed pate de campagne and melon surprise starters. The fish and chicken mains are good but feel the fish needs to be served with more sauce as the rice is quite dry. Chocolate fondant and framboiserie are good. Service is always friendly and efficient. There is an outside terrace overlooking the car park.
If your staying at the campsite its really convenient, even if your pulled up for the night over the road. Lots of parking outside for cars as well. The drinks menu is excellent and you receive a warm welcome when you arrive. The menu is excellent and local produce, the waitresses speak english and are lovely. The owner is warm welcoming grand lad who makes you feel at home. Visited a few times and we loved it, well worth a visit. Thank you, it made our stay in Camping Hallerais
popular bar and restaurant near the campsite le hallerais. enjoy a delicious lunch by euf Cocotte/Hake salat, steak frites/white fish in a lemon butter sauce and panacotta. good price set lunch and carafe rose also worth good. manu hospitable as always and there is a beautiful bar area complete with a large fish tank. the outdoor terrace is beautiful in summer.
a good value bar / restaurant adjacent le hallerais campsite. at this opportunity we enjoyed pate/oufs en cocotte, faux filet poulet bllanc avec frites, cream caramel/ananas. all were very good. manu is always friendly and efficient and the bar is also a fun place for drinks.

Again a restaurant we always visit. First discovered when took campervan there a few years ago. Starter was Egg with mushroom sauce. Really tasty. Main chose Chicken gratin potato. Desert was apple tart. Couple of glasses of red wine. Good staff, good food, good prices.
We always eat at the cochon grille when on holiday , service is excellent food is first class , always made to feel welcome , can't wait for our next visit . Jacqueline and Phillip Richards.
Simple decor and the restaurant is clean. The lunch menu was good. Choose between 3 entries, 3 courses and 3 desserts. Or a menu on the map. The server was super nice and helpful
We stayed at the campsite for 1 week and we were able to discover this restaurant. Very good cuisine, the boss is very friendly, welcoming and listening like the waiter.

Very good restaurant. The meats were cooked perfectly and the wine list was sophisticated. We will come back.
