We ate hier 7 times during our stay in the Provence. Brasserie is located on the market square, the food is no-nonsense, meat and fish based, and well done and presented for a very decent price. The staff was extremely friendly, funny and very fast,...although it was hectic. The waiters are people who just like their job. One day we were invited to dine inside and were surprised by the large dining room in the back, which looks like a restored wine cellar. This is just a very good brasserie , I totally disagree with some negative comments by others. For us this was a perfect place all 7 times.
we arrived after 1 hour for lunch. we were not offered a daily special, but found the a la carte menu had some good choices and reasonable prices. we both chose the salad forcalquier, from grilled paprika and auberginen, a scoop of Chevre cheese (which they called a snake tomaten toasts each stacked with a tupfer of a mousse tapenade all on salat. very large part. ditto the side of the pommes friites.
