Le Comptoir des Vins

Sur la place du village de Fontevraud, Le Comptoirs des Vins propose une terrasse où il semble agréable d'y faire une halte.À peine la commande passée, la désillusion commence quand arrive le vin. Ce qui est présenté comme un verre de saumur du producteur du coin s'apparente à une larme de mauvais beaujolais nouveau de l'année passée. Arrive ensuite le plat, servi sur une ardoise comme pour justifier son prix sans rapport avec les quantités homéopathiques des denrées déconglées proposées, garnies symboliquement de quelques feuilles de salade tirées du sachet. Faute de pain dans la corbeille, on s'égare alors à demander un dessert pour partir rassasié. Le résultat est à l'aune du reste du rep...

10/10 this restaurant doesn't deserve the bad notes, the owner is very helpful and knows very well advise, I came with friends Chinese and Russian tourists who absolutely loved the food that was very French, the music and the atmosphere was very pleasant, and very good quality price we eat for what we pay with enough food in the plate to not hungry for the really excellent experience thank you very soon I recommend, For vegetarians the goat salad is appropriate, it would be nice to develop more meatless dishes but it is still possible to eat it!

At the time we ordered coffees, we were said that it was no coffee time, no more explanations. The waiter was very rude, indeed the people of near tables didn't understand why and even they apologize. We went away and 15 minutes later the table we were supposed to take was occupied by other people taking guess what... coffee!!. I cannot understand, because we are an standard four people family. I am sorry to write this but I think that this fantastic village doesn't deserve this so rude person.

Very good place to eat and drink ,hosts are very friendly and informative ,food good home cooked , very good wine choice hosts are very knowledgeable . great position in centre of village.will definitely visit again.
