After a long drive we were wandering around this lovely town searching for a beer and a meal. Although not yet open, the waitress unlocked the door and with lots of hand signals (we speak little French, she spoke little English) we booked a table for later in the evening. On our return, this popular eatery was quite busy (Sat eve) so we were glad we had booked. There was only one version of the menu in English, but that's all we needed! The male waiter speaks good English and put some effort into explaining the Plat Du Jour; roast cod on mashed potato with diced veg in a creamy sauce. Didn’t want anything really fancy . This restaurant has a Simple menu but good homemade food with good choice. Spotlessly clean. Owner/ manager very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. We had the burgers which were delicious followed by the chocolate fondant which was excellent. Reasonable price too. Would highly recommend and would certainly visit again if in the area

Friendly place, a little noisy room nevertheless when there is a world. The kitchen is excellent. Fresh fries and homemade sauces, fresh vegetables as well. A nickel and fast service. You can go with your eyes closed!
