Arrived at the restaurant, without a reservation, at about 7.30 pm on a Saturday evening, but we were welcomed by the chef (and his wife? who appear to operate a very effective team together. From here on everything ran very smoothly and we had a surprisingly good meal. 'Surprisingly ', because the initial impressions did give some cause for concern. We were the only people in the restaurant...the décor and lighting appeared a little stark and bright...the colour scheme was, well, tangerine...and there was no music playing and, accordingly, little discernible atmosphere. Over the next hour, however, tables did fill and, apparently, with local customers. We both chose from the menu 'Formule '...
auf unserer Reise rund um den See haben wir kurz vor den evian les bains ziemlich zufällig gestoppt und beschlossen, im Restaurant le cygne zu essen. eine Entscheidung! die Rezeption war herzlich, die Umgebung blühend und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. wir wurden empfohlen, das Menü zu verwenden, für das wir leicht entscheiden konnten. Ich könnte den Vorspeisen leicht gegen einen Salate ersetzen. es gab köstliche Lachs Spaghett als Hauptgericht. der Dessert war köstlich und schön gekleidet. Das Restaurant ist visuell ein Erlebnis! wir waren nur ein Mal in “Ly Cygne” aber dieser Besuch war perfekt!
The exterior is fabulous. Decorate with fabulous window boxes overflowing with geraniums. Inside it is so French (haha). Lots of red velvet, and very opulent furnishings. The terrace is magnificent with a pergola covered in vines. The staff were very friendly, and suggest the special which were fantastic, perfectly cooked and presented. A great experience
warm welcome from Monsieur and Madame, very pleasant setting; menu of the day at small prices is very well presented, rich in input, main dish and dessert; that's why we'll go back in the evening to consume other dishes according to some ideas about slate presented, unless it's also at noon as the first time Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We chose the Menu du Jour. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious. The hostess recommended a lovely local wine. Nice outdoor dining area.
