During a few days escapade on the area, we, together with my wife, arrested on 23 May in this magnificent domain, chosen on the basis of the elements provided by the internet. It is a beautiful place that breathes tranquility, where the reception is at the top with a level of services of very good standing. We spent the day of our arrival, then the next day, before our departure, excellent moments in the well-being area (piscine, jacuzzi and sauna. As always, these exceptional moments pass (too fast and we promised to come back, very quickly, to discover the restaurant that was not opened on Monday night. A great discovery. 3 nights stay in this family estate with absolutely charming guests. Place out of time, authentic and relaxing. Nice atmosphere and decor, olfactory notes soap in particular that magnifies the stay. Perfect swimming pool, in a revitalizing hot bubble. As everywhere near Saumur Chinon to our knowledge, the kitchen is under the beauty and benefits of the place. On the other hand, breakfast in the Mestré area is excellent, we were delighted and happy in the wake. In short, a great thank you we can only recommend a stay in this place that we would like to keep the secret eyes closed!
I stayed at the hotel for a day. The place is charming, beautiful alliance of old and modern. The owners did not read on the quality of the equipment (bedroom, amenities, bathroom, furniture). The living room, very cozy with corporate games and the indoor pool contribute to the comfort and tranquility of the place. Breakfast is generous.It is quite original and rather pleasant: odors. Each room, room and even the courtyard are scented with different odours, in connection with the presence of an old soap factory on the site it seems to me.
We were packed with our stay in the Mestré estate, located in the countryside a few minutes from the Fontevraud Abbey. First by the charm of the places (some buildings of the 12th century), old stop of pilgrimage St Jacques de Compostela. Then the welcome, warm and friendly, and the rooms, vast, comfortable, of an irreproachable cleanliness, and particularly quiet. Sleep and rest guaranteed. Perfect breakfast.
