In the midst of a June heatwave when you find yourself on the plage at Saint-Jeam-de-Monts what do you need, a bar serving cold beer and wine and a selection of food to tempt you. At Le Farniente you 've found it. Suspect in high season you might need to arrive at dawn and stake out a table but in mid June on a quiet mid week day it was parfait. Pleasant service, reasonable (remember you 're on one of the best beaches in France prices and a view to die for, (even if the sun was glaring it was hard to see. Not flashy, just simple stuff done well.
Any visit to the farniente is a real pleasure! Drink a cocktail (special bed for the virgin colada with its candy skewer, accompanied by their famous large board, a real pleasure!!! The whole face to the sea in a relaxed atmosphere, forced passage during the holidays! :
Restaurant very pleasant and seen on the sea. A great on saint jean de monts because there is a lot of restaurant but little (see person? also ready for the sea. Cocktail, tapas and burger. Ideal for a romantic evening or with friends.
Small beach bar with no hannetons! It feels extremely well, always perfectly welcomed by the most pleasant hanging of the coast of light! We return with ever more pleasure;

Great location and simple menu for lunch on the beach, ice creams, drinks etc. Staff all friendly and fluent in English as well as French

Belle vue au bord de plage, on y mange tres bien et personnel tres sympathique. Ambiance chaleureuse, bref nous recommandons !
