Stopped in here on Christmas Eve for lunch.....We were very surprised at the wide and varied choice of main courses on offer. We both chose the lamb curry and (very english this) chips! It was very, very good it just wasn 't curry. I would say a lamb saute with almonds. We both said we would have it again so top marks! Big portion too plenty of meat that just fell off the bones. This was good brasserie food at a very reasonable price. So much better than normal supermarket canteens . I have to say that the 2 members of staff that served us were very pleasant too. We stopped at Le Clerc for some shopping whilst on holiday in the area and decided to have lunch in their Le Festival cafeteria. By 1.15 pm the main lunchtime rush was over and we found the experience very calm and the food good quality for the price. Service with a smile, a good choice of main courses and desserts plus a decent range of starters. Typical of cafeterias attached to the big supermarkets, but nicely done and decent quality. 2 starters, 2 main courses and a pichet of wine came to 24.45 euros a great deal.
Quite handy this place, built on the side of E.Leclerc. Basically a selfservice buffet with a good selection of starters, main and desert. A 3 course menu de jour will set you back about 12 Euro including a small jug of wine. There is also a seperate bar, serves coffee and alcahol enclosed within the restaurant. eaten here many times before or after shopping at the super market. Good value.
Plastic cutlery, plastic plates, plastic cups, horrible pizza slice, disgusting salad, tasteless strawberry cake. This cafe can kill the planet on its own with all the plastic they use for one meal. Very expensive for what you get. To be avoided.

When we're shopping in Avranches, we always stop for a quick coffee and baguette in the bar attached to LeClerc hypermarket. Very good coffee, huge and well filled baguettes and pleasant service. And it's very reasonably priced.
In the absence of a flunch I decided to have a bite after shopping at this Cafeteria next to the leclare supermarket for the price the main was ok the little carafes of wine good value, starters very good, dessert less so
Very nice cafeteria....excellent dishes...every day...very warm welcome and impeccable service....
First time for me I really loved it, a great choice and the very pleasant staff I will come back
