A last minute treat from my husband however the experience was mediocre. The decor is uninspiring , despite the Michelin recommendation. This, in itself isn't too important, if the welcome and the food compensate. The welcome was rudimentary polite but not more. The menu is very restricted, and the menu du jour without inspiration. However, the main course was freshly cooked and obviously home made. No carafe of wine available so the choice is either a bottle, or by the glass. We chose to have a glass each. My white was acceptable (but at 4 € ! my husband had red the wine was served in a very small glass, which was only half filled ! also 4 € ! We felt that it was not a Restaurant to visit a...
We came across this place while looking to somewhere for lunch after a shopping trip to Tarbes. We certainly lucked out. The lunch menu is amazing value considering the excellent quality of the cuisine, and the wine selection is also good and very reasonably priced. Fine quality fresh produce, caringly and inventively prepared. And despite what might initially be taken as a somewhat lugubrious manner, the owner/waitress also does an excellent job, with understated humour. We've been back already, this is definitely our go-to place in Tarbes now: if it were more local to us it would be a regular
We got the place recommended by our bed and breakfast host. it is a nice small Restaurant in the Center of the City Tarbes Pyrenees. The dinner menu was excellent and really value for the Money as well as the wine and the Lady who served us was very friendly
Food was awesome, with fresh ingredients. I had duck tenderloin, with onion confit. Wine was reasonably priced. Service a little slow for what we were looking for, but acceptable on a date night.
