Friendly and helpful staff, we sat in the garden with lots of space (surprising for a Saturday evening) perfect for us two adults and two Labrador dogs. We didn't expect the food to be great, but Le First surpassed our expectations. We had the set menu of 3 courses - all of which were excellent. I had calamari to start which although slightly overdone, the sauce and salad were great. My Husband had the meat platter (charcuterie) which was so good he wouldn't share any! I had the home made chicken stir fry for main and Husband had Cheek of Beef confit which melted in your mouth. Desserts were also fab - ice cream filled profiteroles and tarte du jour - strawberry tart - yum! Very good value f...
We celebrated 14 July here as a family group and were made very welcome by the friendly staff. It is ideally situated overlooking the port yet set back from the busy road, and we could watch the fireworks from our table. There was a set menu for the special evening which was not badly priced at €32, and the food was excellent. Also, wine in carafes as well as expensive bottles, not always available in seafront restaurants.The dining room inside did not have as much ambience so this is more a summer venue.
I very much recommend the outside garden restaurant of Le First with a great view of the Sainte-Maxime Marina. The Food is excellent and the service is even better. Remember to book a table in advance in the high season. Very much recommended!
We enjoyed a lovely meal. The service was a little slow to begin with but this improved. The menu selection was good, it was very well presented and really delicious. We tried to return but the restaurant was fully booked.

Excellent ! De l’accueil jusqu’à l’assiette tout était parfait. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Un grand plus pour la musique qui était géniale, très belle prestation !

As in the title, great location particularly when being serenaded by a local musician. Food is good, but not exceptional. Overall a pleasant experience

We had a table of 3 and every course of the set menu was lovely especially the chicken sate. Lovely setting and very nice staff.
