Le Fournil French Bakery

in a word: morisch. I didn't have the chance to try a vanilla slice from geelong, so when I found le fournil french bakery, I wanted to change that. at $5 it was a cheap Mille-Feuille compared to other French style patisseries I have patterned. then it made many others I tried to look normal. the vanille custard was divine and a beautiful, smooth texture. the baked was also quite good; crisp and thin. the icing was thin, with a reasonable texture, but not as sticky as I hoped. overall, very mortal and one of the best Mille-Feuilles I tasted from a French style bakery.

large terrace and bakery. they do excellent croissants, pain au chocolate, mandel croissants etc. I agree with another reviewer that their excellent baked goods are not sufficiently supported with decent coffee or ambiente. but while I do not recommend it for a sit down menu, it is still great to eat. I wish they were more open.

my wife and I love this bakery, the coffee is always decent, but we go there for the baked. They're just fantastic. the only problem is they have to get in early before they sell out. otherwise, a must see a place in geelong, just come before 3 to avoid disappointment

we are not native and are only occasional visitors, but this place has never disappointed. great food, very good coffee and excellent service. I can't wait to go back. it is also a place where we visit friends. doesn't look, but we're not looking for a look.

Addicted local. A great selection of cakes , very good coffee ...... And if you want a really good pie .... A true gourmet pie .... A good range of breads including sour dough.
