I discovered le garage about a month ago and was again 4 times. I love this place! the room is attractive and modern and has a seating area in the open on a quiet road. the owner and the chef are a French mother-daughter team, and the French inspired kitchen is delicious and artistically presented. her chicken for two is the best I ever had in nyc, and the classic dishes like the brazed lauchse and foie gras terrine are on place. a recent sea bass court was also about as good as it gets. I don't think le bernardin could be better on the teller. one evening I was with two very picky people who manage in manhattan high-end restaurants, and they also razed over the fish. the wine list is limite...
Was so excited to try this restaurant after hearing rave reviews from friends. Unfortunately there were several disappointing moments. Lack luster service. Missing plates (they ran out of several things) Appetizer plates were disproportionate for thesame order. The food portions were small, acceptable but overall the taste didn?t merit the price. Then at payment they onlyaccepted 4 cards and they all had to be charged the same price?this should be clarified at the start? anyways? it was a niceexperience w friends but I don?t think I?ll be coming back. The best thing we?re the cocktails!!
Went for brunch, the place is very lovely on a sunny day. The food was good, I had a good omelette, with salad and their special fries. The fries were not good, they tasted old, like they had been fried the day before. But other than that I recommend it.
Such a beautiful spot. accessible with friendly welcoming and accommodating staff, delicious and well prepared food and a nice selection of wines both by the glass and bottle. Whenever I'm in town, it's a spot I love to return to.

Terrible service, never asked for main courses! Instead the entire staff was hanging out. It got to the point where we had to walk up to the bar and pay our tab and left hungry!
Most definitely the best French restaurant in NY. Amazing atmosphere, great people and food has been consistently mind blowing. My go to place.
Wonderful restaurant with great interesting courses and cocktails . Love the ambience and the service was outstanding .
Ten of us went for a post-wedding brunch. Food was outstanding and service was superb. Highly recommend it.
