Le Garage a Lumieres

Le Garage is a great place to go if you want to take a break from French food (rarely happens to me). It’s a funky, fun place, whimsically decorated and friendly staff with their own take on Tapas, don’t expect Spain. The tapas are presented in a way that fits the ambiance of the place. Also a good mixologist that creates cocktails named after famous fashion designers. I’m particularly drawn to the Pierre Cardin.

It is a very nice terras, but it is overrated. I thought we would have some awesomr tapas. It was just simple, too simple. The ceviche was no seviche as it should be. The bourbon cocktail was just like a peat Bourbon, good but nothing special. The croques were so heavy, but good. The chicken was simple, but good. So go there, you will have a very nice terras with simple food. Don’t expect more.

Very disappointing given the previous reviews. We ordered cocktails but they were nothing special and the tapas were not good at all. The meats were tough and there were hardly any vegetables. There are much much better options in the area to eat out.

Nicely designed both interior and exterior areas, with comfortable seating, sofas, etc. The food is Tapas style however French, and modestly priced. The restaurant also offers a wide array of cocktails. Overall a nice place for diner.

Excellent food and service at this slightly quirky restaurant. We weren’t sure what to expect as the location is a little unusu, but we had a very good meal. Nice decor and friendly service. Recommended
