An excellent address close to the medieval area between the prison gate and the church of Saint Paterne. Two menus at 21 and 26 €. An original and tasty French cuisine: fish soup, salmon millefeuille, pork foot, stirred with mussels Sauce Karigosse, ginger lemon sauce, mustard seed pork cheek, duck thigh with nutmeg, apple ****, etc... A warm and very pleasant welcome. An excellent digestive shot of rifle offered (home arranged rhum). A safe value!!! Congratulations to the couple of restaurateurs, Madame works in the hall and Monsieur behind the furnaces.
Excellent address, a very good restaurant! An original traditional cuisine, for a menu where the mix of mussels and its delicious sauce, precedes the braised pork cheek, tender to desire! For dessert, you will have the choice, the card is well-stocked! The service is pleasant and attentive, in a pleasant setting: you can choose the outdoor terrace, the bedroom or the small interior terrace, beautifully decorated, with the effigy of Gavroche of course! A restaurant to remember, Rue de la Fontaine, in Vannes.
Outstanding cuisine, delicate flavors… the place is cozy and pleasant. The staff is fantastic, welcoming, with a true smile on their face. It was a nice surprise in a small city like Vannes. We had wonderful fish dishes and a first class dessert, truly typical of Brittany, they call it “kouign-amann”, and you’ll never forget it. I recommend Le Gavroche without any hesitation!!! Go there to have lunch or dinner, you’ll be delighted.
Sunday lunch with la carte parents. Fine Food, well presented with fresh products. Very welcoming and smiling staff The level price is between 9 and 11 euros for admissions, 20 to 25 € for the main dish and 6 to 9 € for a dessert. Always a pleasure... is good, simple... one of the few restaurants or it is possible to taste excellent milk rice... when soups in winter, the gaspacho in summer? ; Very good value quality prices... entry formulas, dish and dessert at 22€ and 28€. This restaurant is very good in all respects: friendly, professional service pleasant environment we ate in the terrace at the back, since the weather was hot ‘Michelin level’ at a very reasonable price, table d’hôte 3 courses for €36, plus 50 cl carafe good red wine for €20 Highly recommended. We consider that others have underrated this restaurant.
New owner so new card. Refined cuisine, taste, color in the plate with beautiful fresh produce. Bravo for the child menu: finally they have the right to eat correctly (Vanel for us) This is the first time I discovered the Gavroche and certainly not the last time.
