We should have known from the few people dining, and we neglected to check tripadvisor beforehand! Very limited menu not a problem as that often indicates quality, well prepared meals. How wrong we were. The steak tartare and home made chips was a plate of unseasoned and bland uncooked mince, and some desperately sad potatoes cut into lacklustre strands of oily, mushy, cold fries see the photo. I had the burger similarly tasteless, and with the same manky chips. Upon providing feedback, the proprietor claimed that 's what makes them home made , and that he would happily eat them bleurgh. Had we checked before hand we would have gone to the restaurant across the street. The chips were inedible. Greasy chunks of fat. The burger and fish fry were hard to consume. Oh well that's what a tourist deals with

I was out with my friends and I still don’t have a drink. It’s been so long I don’t know what day, week, month or year it is. Still waiting and I think they have found a cure for cancer.

Great location, original and very tasty food and great service. What more do you need, ah yes price of course…very reasonable, great value

Visited for a coffee. Not great at all. Coffee split in cups And cold and tasted quite awful. Will not return
