This restaurant was recommended by the hotel I was staying at (Balladins, Le Cannet) and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise on my last night in Cannes. The person behind the bar was friendly and made me feel most welcomed even though I do not speak French. I had actually ordered a salad and pizza and after asking me how hungry I was, she suggested I go with just one or the other. She was right! I decided on the Pizza Napolitaine and was not disappointed when it arrived as it was a good size and delicious to the last bite. We chose this restaurant because my husband loves grilled sardines and we found them on the menu. I was a little apprehensive because the menu did not have as many options for me as I had seen elsewhere. But I'm so happy we decided to try it anyway. I had an amazing Niçoise salad, and wonderful glass of Chablis, which was also a pleasant surprise because I've been disappointed by the individual glass offerings at other restaurants. And my husband loved his grilled sardines. We also enjoyed excellent, helpful service. I guess it's true - smaller menus allow a restaurant to focus more on what it serves, resulting in better quality.

A nice affordable bistro in Le Cannet on the outskirts of Cannes. Very good pizza which I usually share because the fantastic appetizer salads are big enough for two. The duck breast is excellent when they have it on the menu. Friendly service is always shown.
