This place is just Ok. I enjoyed going but wouldn't necessarily rush back. The staff are charming, the room is simple but quite well decorated, it has decent toilets, my omelette was HUGE and perfectly well cooked and it is pretty good value but issues...are you can't book the people waiting in line for tables hold the door open so it's freezing cold the ham in the omelette was on the cheap side glasses of wine are tiny worst of all, chips come in plastic containers.... Do go, but don't get too excited about it.
we were in le gouet over time in the last months every time when eating is error-free and the personal charming. they may have to wait one because for a table, but it is worth it. it lies between a blue and black run and close to a button lift, it is easy to get.
winter I love this place. good food, great friendly staff and a great atmosphere. the prices are very reasonable and the ski from the overpriced restaurants of megeve is worth well worth mentioning. now open in juli and august, which is great.
I have eaten in the Gouet many times in the winter and it is a favourite lunch stop. A group of us decided to venture up the mountain for an evening meal and it was truly worth the try. The service and food was excellent.

Fin de saison à Saint Gervais, et déjeuner au soleil: excellente omelette, dessert fait maison délicieux, service souriant et aimable, prix plus que raisonnables, une belle façon de terminer la saison de ski!
tres belle fondue aux trois fromages avec une belle planche de charcuterie, a un prix tres doux...belle croute!et un coup de gnole payé par la patronne a la fin du repas, on est toujours au top au gouet!

Un super accueil chaleureux, une carte très abordable pour un restaurant d'altitude. Les plats sont copieux, parfait pour une pause entre deux pistes. PS: foncez sur la "Croûte"

had an excellent derecote and chips, super tasty and a good size portion. great service, friendly and fast. one of the cheapest beer on the mountain also. highly recommended.
