This was the second time we came to the Grand Hôtel les Bains, which already is an indicator. We love this place. We feel cocooned. The restaurant room, glazed over its entire length and with a clear and warm decoration, razerene and rests immediately. The kitchen is perfect. The living room, near the fireplace, also invites to rest and relaxation moments when the weather is cooler. Finally, the staff is both smiling, discreet and warm. all these features make the Grand Hotel our favorite place of the region. Thank you all for your welcome.
It is not an individual critique that we have to formulate because the very young servers make themselves that they can Although not knowing how to establish the human report that we would be entitled to wait. It is mainly the inorganization that is at stake (and perhaps also a kitchen that does not follow). No server dedicated to our table; This is how we had several of them after claiming bread (which was not offered to us a second time), drinks...Our main dish was finally served us 1 hour 15 after taking place. We came with family with our grandmother at the time that this big hotel was a family pension in the 1980s. Nothing has changed with a few exceptions. The table was already delicious and the exceptional setting. Tennis was replaced by a parking lot but the new owner kept his original mind. What a pleasure to spend an exceptional moment in this hotel that since the 20th century has won 3 stars. Thank you! We'll be back.
Very well located hotel, the view is amazing, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant room is very beautiful, the hearty breakfast is delicious The restaurant is classic, some dishes missed seasoning, wine selection is nice The room is comfortable but a little expensive for the service (soluble coffee in the rooms, damaged bedding, some necessary renovations)
Make sure to call ahead! The menu usually offers only few vegan vegetarian items! Honestly, we were not sure if we’d really get a vegan dinner. Especially when they took the normal knives but left the fish ones. : But we were spoiled with a simply delicious meal from soup to dessert. Highly recommended! Magic! A hotel out of time, exceptional setting with a magnificent view of the sea and garden (direct access to the beach), charming and welcoming staff, very comfortable room and I also recommend the spa for treatment (very good massage)
