This is proberly one of the best resturants in Montlucon. We went here a pax of 8 to a business dinner. I arrived early waiting for the rest of the party. As I do not speak french it was imposible to communicate with the staff. As a result I was waiting outside (lovely surroundings) for 20 minutes, not once was I offered to order a drink. Strange and not ok Once all 8 was seated the servings started. bread missing at one plate, we had to continously pour our own wine and ran out more than once wich is not ok, slow service and not living up to the standard of the place Food it self was very good, all servings was well prepared, well presented and tasteful, the real star of the show is definan...
I booked a table here on my way to the South of France. I was disappointed with the very restricted choice on the menu and taken aback by the high prices. 26 euro for a fairly basic lettuce based salad. 36euro for a roast duck leg. For a fairly basic three course meal with a couple of small glasses of wine and a cocktail 98 euro. This is no Michelin starred restaurand and the cooking was fairly basic with little or no innovation.
a restaurant has been; If we love it, it's perfect. we don't, tired seats, smell of moisture, The manager who's not friendly. a little original card with little choice. We chose a meat of charolais beef, very good and hearty ... the price also was at the height € person,) two fine tarts (I prefer those of my catererer, a holy joseph and aperitif, all for euros.
What a fantastic hotel in the old town. All the staff were really friendly. The meal was really good. The room we stayed in was amazing. We were greeted by a young man who gave us all the information that we needed. Amazing
refined map, freshness of insured products, and server with a strong sense of humor. all the ingredients were together for a successful evening. I'll add a light on each table to warm up the atmosphere, very Scandinavian.
recently renovated establishment with great care. our room (the room was vast, comfortable and very well decorated always a good kitchen. only flatulates a rather cold reception in the hotel as in the restaurant.
the reception is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and the sublime dinner. That adds. it will be back for longer to appreciate the beauty of this medieval city
The restautant is well placed, in a very nice environnement. The meal was really good. Well prepared, nice dressing. I will come back without any hesitation.
Very limited choice. No veggie option. Inflated prices. Friendly staff and lovely garden service.. Altogether, quite disappointing
