it was quickly clear that this restaurant is a local favorite. the owner is friendly and efficient, and eating was extremely good. my simple chicken sandwich was on a perfect crispy baguette, and my companion is feuillantine chèvre with salad goat cheese and tomato baked. on a round fresh puff pasty was beautiful and delicious. the price for both, plus two perfect cappuccinos, was less than we would have paid for a lunch in a pretentious restaurant.
