I was here at this facility today for a Cardiology consultation for my 4- year old daughter. I am very happy and satisfied with the care my daughter received. The wait time was long but I guess that’s how things are post-Covid. On our way out, I wanted to grab some ice-cream for my daughter from the hospital’s cafeteria and use the restroom before we started our hour-long drive back home. I had been stressed, tired and I get questioned by one of the security personnel: “Do you have an appointment?” as if we looked like people who had just walked in there to use the restroom!! I answered his question but it was so obvious that he had picked us of all the people there because we looked differe...
I feel so blessed to have such an amazing and capable children's hospital close by. We've been here for a surgery, an overnight stay, ER visits, and routine visits with a specialist and all have been so amazing. The doctors are extremely thorough and attentive and my kids actually think its fun to come here. Each lobby has TV's or something entertaining for children. Before my daughter had surgery they had an iPad for her and when that one wasn't working they got her another one, when she woke up from surgery they had an ICEE machine which was a hit with my daughter especially after an oral surgery. It was a while ago I was here for a conference. Even though I am not a child I live with a rare disease and the conference was for both children and adults and families with this rare disease. This hospital is the nicest hospital I have ever seen. I t was very clean and colorfu throughout. There is lots of meetings rooms throughout the hospital. All the doctors that I talked to even the ones from this hospital were very friendly. I did know some of the locals from other conferences I’ve attended
My 3 year old grandson needed to get a state-mandated lead-testing done. We booked an appointment at the outpatient-lab here at Nemours. We were dreading the blood-test, but Tammy, who took care of us was fantastic! Our little one didn't even notice when she took the venous blood sample. I never thought that this could be done, but Tammy did it. We were so relieved! A great experience from the moment we walked in, and the playtime afterwards on the playground was a bonus! Came here today to treat my infant son eye infection.. security, dr’s, and nurses were all very kind I was there for about 2 hours and very nice lady who works for the hospital came and read my son a book while we were waiting to be seen : he loved it definitely put a smile on his face. Hopefully I don’t need to go to the er again for my son but if I do I will be coming here! 5 stars!
I went here until the age of I wish they took adults! I dealt with orthopedics n neurology and urology so my day was very fool they didn't even have the new hospital part built yet when I started there I would recommend this hospital to any parents with any child with any disability a Comcast
Just got discharged from nemours. A hospital is never a nice experience, but the staff at this hospital, from the security, cafeteria workers, to the nurses and doctors are all beyond amazing. They took such great care of our little girl and was accomodating to us to. Thank you so much
My son had a major surgery at Neumors , never saw such beautiful facility, caring stuff and amazing doctors as here ! A star hospital that I feel goes above and beyond. Really helped me in life, everyone I met was kind and almost everyone I met was competent. Have good memories here. Would recommend.
