"Decent bar throughout the day and evening. Good prices, not too rowdy, decent food. Not a lot wrong with it."

We stayed at a hotel closeby, so we went passed Le Grotte everyday after our skiing. It was hard to find tables between 16 and 17, after that it wasn't that many people. There were a lot of things that they were out of. You couldn't get Jaeger, glas of sparkling (only a whole bottle), no aperol spritz, no dark beer. I don't know if there was something with planning of purchase, it was still strange that a place that holds themselves high of afterski, ran out of quite common drinks.

I didn't think much about this place when I first came in. it is deeply illuminated interieur surrounded by dark wood seemed a bit dingy for my lust. first impressions mean nothing. the bar staff were friendly, the music pumped and brought us to dance and I. didn't think the drinks were so badly inexpensive as it was the main at the bottom of the main cable lift aravet. a perfect place to finish their days skiing. they can sit outside when the sun seems and eating is not too bad.

This is the bar you will meet all the local ski and boarding talent. No frills, no fuss. Cheap beer and happy go lucky atmosphere. The staff are happy out and game for a laugh. Something happening everyday during the season. Deck has the perfect aspect to keep an eye on what is happening on the Mickey and for apres ski to catch the last rays of sunshine before heading home. The people make the place - check it out!

Had a holiday disaster, lost the keys to the rental car (with our snowboards inside) and took shelter in La Grotte for food and wifi. Staff couldn't be more helpful, especially the owner who went to great lengths to help us out. Good food, cheap drinks, decent wifi and a pool table to keep you occupied. Highly recommended! A lively dive, much frequented by seasonaires and sundry ski bums and instructors. English owned and run, beer, spirits, wine, shots, plus pretty good and straightforward food and coffee in season. You can sit outside and watch the world slide by. Children welcome. Very good location if you are in Serre Chevalier

Right on the piste, handy for meeting up after ski school. Our group were different abilities doing different runs but all ended up here for lunch. Price and services are good. Not the poshest place but food is good and plentiful.

I liked this restaurant a lot. A good menu and friendly staff and plenty of space. There are pool tables and the like. Located right under the Aravet bubble with a piste nearby. I recommend it

we have expected a kind of skiing here. it is just a stinking pub, nothing special and not particularly good service. no sun in the afternoon. in any case not worth visiting. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
