It was our second visit and somehow I 've managed to make reservations in the wrong 'Le jardin '! Luckily madame Juliette helped us by contacting the wrong restaurant and even made it possible to still get a table later on that evening. And again Le jardin didn 't disappoint. The service is the best I 've ever had in any country! From start to end the service was impeccable and highly professional. The food was amazing! The quality of the ingredients was very good. The dishes were beautiful and the flavors were excellent, sometimes suprising and always spot on! PS: My photos don 't do it justice! Tables are spread around in a garden type area. The chef uses his out-of-season travels to explore new food ideas. The food is typically sophisticated in nflavour and texture. The three course €39 menu is good value. The wine list offers especiall quality at reasonable prices. Both service and hospitality are excellent. Our favourites in Le Lavandou, in no special order, are: Auberge Provencale Le Jardin in Bormes Smash, in Cavaliere L'Empreinte, about 2km East of Le Lavandou. and for a change of style, Bo.
We came here for a meal on the recommendation of friends. We were certainly not disappointed!! From entering the garden seated area, the atmosphere was calm and tranquil and a perfect spot to enjoy a wonderful meal. We had the lamb and plum tart courses and the food was just sublime. It was beautifully cooked and presented and the service was very friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. A superb meal and a restaurant to be highly recommended.
Lovely shaded, secluded garden restaurant with relaxed atmosphere and welcoming ambience. ... the menu all looked delicious but what we had was incredible. Highly recommend the octopus... wow it was so tasty. A very talented chef the staff are friendly attentive. This little gem of a restaurant is a ‘must-do’ when visiting beautiful Bormes-les-Mimosas. You might need to book ahead.
