Probably my favorite gourmet restaurant in Metz, to try absolutely. The cuisine is really excellent, refined and subtle, really from the level of a starred restaurant, I have never been disappointed! Everything is as beautiful as it is, the menu that is regularly renewed will surprise you and delight you for sure. The restaurant is in a really privileged setting on the ground floor in a large house in the style of Master's house in a park treed in the middle of town and which offers parking spaces. the pate de fois gras was superb. the veal was delicious. the little nutty goodie you get at the end of the mean in the shape of a heart...so good. add to it that the atmosphere is cosy without being stuffy and the owner extra friendly and this is a win win situation. the service is a bit slow by american standard but then the French like to take their time to enjoy a good dinner. so come with the french frame of mind. it is not that slow. just a little bit. For our anniversary, my husband surprised me by taking me to this restaurant. The decoration is cozy, and the staff was very pleasant on our arrival as well as during the entire meal. We both ordered the smallest menu, because the others had just too much food for either of us. The meal was delicious, every bite a pleasure. The venison, cooked just right with red cabbage sauce and the dessert were simply divine. As for the price, you can't expect a meal with high quality products and great service without paying for it. While we received good service with two women literally running around the restaurant, I felt the food and what we ordered was not the quality nor the perfection I expected. The dining room was way too bright. Many times I poured my own bottle of wine because they ladies were so busy serving. The menu was quite expensive and way too much food. 70 euros for a menu with not many alternatives. Our beef was overcooked and the turbot had a really strange taste with all the things they added.

We went dinner on a Friday night at 7:15pm at the opening of the restaurant. We had a very nice welcome! The dinning room is modern, very nice and spacious. There are enough space between the tables to feel comfortable. Everything was perfect, the personnel was friendly and very efficient. The waiting time between each meal is fine, not too fast, not too slow. The food was excellent and last but not last, the bill was very reasonnable.
